About Us
We are a small family run Southeast Alaskan lodge located remote from the road system, in the heart of Southeast Alaska's majestic Tongass Forest, yet we are only 20 minutes north of Ketchikan.
We provide luxurious accommodation in our eco-friendly Yurts, all meals and a choice of guided and self-guided fishing packages, along with self-guided kayaking, hiking and wildlife viewing for the non-fisherman and nature lover alike.
This along with our capacity of just 6 assures you of our personal attention and makes us ideal for your exclusive group, corporate or family booking.
Self-Guided Saltwater Fishing
Our self guided saltwater fishing package includes 16ft Lund skiffs with 25hp outboards, fuel, coast guard safety equipment and saltwater fishing tackle. Ideal for those looking to enjoy their fishing vacation in accordance with their own schedule.
Saltwater Charter
For those looking for guided saltwater fishing for some or all of your stay we use Good Time Charters with their fully equipped Charter Boat "Moucher". This is a great way of getting to the more remote fishing spots beyond "skiffing" distance.
Self-Guided Freshwater Fishing
Our freshwater fishing package is self guided. We provide skiffs, fuel and safety equipment for accessing the river, although please bring your own favourite fly and spinning rods. No guided activity is allowed on the Naha River which results in low visitor numbers and even less fishing pressure. It will be just you and the fish!!.
Guided & Non-Guided Fly Out Trips
We can also arrange for guided and non guided fly out trips to some of the nearby mountain lakes, contact us for further details.
Non-Fishing Spouses
We provide a reduced rate for non fishing group members and spouses, and with our fabulous beach front accommodation, 6 miles of prepared hiking trails, and a bear watching platform along the river, they will certainly be kept occupied whilst you are out enjoying your fishing. We can also arrange marine wildlife tours and flight seeing trips to the Anan Bear Observatory and Misty Fjords for the vacation and memories of a life time.
Self-Guided Kayaking
We provide wilderness kayaks (or equivalent) with all safety gear. Kayak the sheltered bays, and coves. Explore the uninhabited islands, and get up close to Southeast Alaska's fabulous marine wildlife.
Self-Guided Hiking and Wildlife Viewing
Simply bring your boots and use our lodge as your base for your daily excursions into the pristine old growth forest. The Naha River has 6 miles of prepared trails, which connect the saltwater lagoon with two lakes further up the river. A bear observatory can be found a short hike along the river where black bears can be seen feeding on the summer salmon runs.

Great Southeast Alaskan Fishing - Our small luxurious Alaska Lodge is located remote from the road system, in the heart of Southeast Alaska's pristine Tongass Forest. Remote, Far from the crowds, yet we are only 20 minutes north of Ketchikan International Airport, which is just 90 minutes from Seattle.
Saltwater Fishing
Naha Bay and the surrounding sheltered nutrient rich waters are extremely productive for all saltwater species. Here you will find all five species of Pacific salmon (King, Coho, Sockeye, Pink & Chum), giant halibut, other bottomfish, Dungeness crab, and shrimp, all of which are abundant and easily accessible with either our guided or self-guided fishing packages.
Freshwater Fishing
The nearby Naha River is among the top fish producers in Southeast Alaska. Resident fish species include rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden, grayling, and kokanee. Anadromous species that spawn in the river include spring and fall runs of steelhead, sea-run cutthroat, and Pink, Sockeye, Chum and Coho salmon.
There is no commercail or guided activity allowed on the Naha River, and so no Kenai style crowds here. You may well see no one else fishing the river.

Accommodation:
We provide luxurious accommodation in our eco-friendly beach front Yurts. Fully insulated, with doors, windows and a dome sky light, our Yurts have been a great hit with all our guests and add a unique experience to your Alaskan vacation.
All your meals are prepared by us in our cosy Lodge, starting with a full cooked breakfast, a packed lunch for your day out and a volumous home cooked dinner on your return typically consisting of fresh salmon, shrimp, crab, or a joint prepared on the grill, and home made bread. Our small size and flexibility allows us to prepare your meals around your schedule, so no need to cut your late afternoons fishing short to rush back for dinner.
After your evening meal you may remain with us in the Lodge and swap stories of the days adventures, or retire to your Yurts with their large wrap around decks and unobstructed views across to the Cleveland Peninsula and Prince of Wales Island.
