Maine (ME) — Package: 200971
Package Details and Information:
Fishing at Loon Lodge is a unique experience.
We are located at the headwaters of three famous watersheds, the Allagash, St. John, and Penobscot Rivers all begin right here. Countless miles of streams, rivers, ponds and lakes make it impossible to fish it all. But your welcome to try.
Whether your a fly fisherman, love spincasting, trolling, or just a bait fisherman we have the water just waiting for you to wet a line. All of our rates include the use of our boats and canoes. We have outboard motors available to rent, but you can bring your own boat and/or motor if you wish. We do not have a boat launch for larger watercraft. Experienced guides are available if you would like one.

Location and Fishing Information
Wilderness Fishing In Maine - The Allagash is one of the last remote wildernesses left in the east. A place where the deer, moose, bears, loons and bald eagles call home. Allagash is a region rich in logging lore, where logs were once cut with axes and flowed in great log drives down the isolated streams and rivers of the area.
From our dock there is over 5000 acres of water to fish and explore without ever getting out of you boat. The fish waiting to challenge your angling skills include, Native Brook Trout, acrobatic Landlock Salmon, Lake Trout, rare and beautiful Blueback Trout, and big feisty Muskie.

Accommodation:
In keeping with the tradition of the Allagash our cabins are kept rustic yet very homey and comfortable. Our log lodge and guest cabins were all hand made on site with a combination of logs and rough sawn boards. The interiors are done up in knotty pine floors and walls, with braided throw rugs and hand made log and pine board furniture. Each cabin has an animal theme and is decorated to fit that theme. Our cabins have colorful names like the "Bear's Den", "Fishing Hole", "Deer Yard", "Trapper" and "The Moose Crossing".

EXPLORE WADERSON
"The first day I landed a 15 lb. plus fish that just sent adrenaline through me. He jumped numerous times and fought hard. The Guides put us over fish every day. To fish over fish every day, cast after cast is an exercise in learning the drifts and changing flies constantly is how you find the fly that brings one up. When he comes up the thrill of the take is unbelievable."
