Let us be your personal guides for a once in a lifetime fishing experience. Or maybe a kayak journey of discovery, or get up-close to whales, Orcas, otters, and eagles. Or take the bikes into town and explore the area on your own. Hike along the pristine north shore trails of Malcolm Island. Or take a boat journey and explore abandoned Native villages. Plans are flexible. The only things guaranteed are the cherished memories.
Fishing -- the noblest of pursuits. All of our staff of professional and personable guides have spent decades chasing salmon and are passionate about teaching you how to catch them. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran angler, we will assure that you have the experience of a lifetime. We provide all equipment and licenses.
The lodge is located in a prime location on the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island where Pacific salmon are abundant. We fish for all 5 species of salmon, all within minutes from the dock. The calm, protected waters of Blackfish Sound offer one of the most abundant fishing areas on the British Columbia coast. After battling a Chinook salmon in the 20-45 pound class, we can limit out on 12-17 pound Coho or beautifully fighting Chum, Sockeye, and Pink salmon.
All your fish are cleaned, vacuum packed and flash frozen. When you leave the lodge you take memories and special souvenirs for you and your friends back home.
Experience the tranquil waters of the Northwest Passage up close in one of our single or two-passenger sea kayaks. Glide silently through deep blue waters. Explore marshland and small inlets, encountering eagles, seals, sea birds. Set your own pace for exercise or adventure. For an unforgettable adventure take a half-day paddle with the whales lead by a local guide.
