Our Lodge is a full service Sport Fishing Lodge located at the west end of Great Slave Lake on the Mackenzie River.
Here, in the headwaters of the mighty Mackenzie River, guests fish for Trophy Northern Pike, Trophy Arctic Grayling, Walleye and Whitefish.
We fish about 25 miles of the Mackenzie River and weather permitting we also fish the bays at the west end of Great Slave Lake. The river at our location varies from 4 to 6 miles in width and averages 5 feet in depth. The current ranges to 4 mph in the main channel. Barbless hooks are mandatory.
Walleye average 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. can be caught trolling or casting using diving plugs such as Wally Divers and Rapalas.
Arctic Grayling average 2 1/2 lbs. Grayling are caught drift trolling or casting using spinners such as Mepps #3. They can also be taken on flies.
Northern Pike 20 lbs. or better are caught regularly using Johnson Silver Minnows, Large Mepps, Len Thompsons etc. or fly fishing using large streamer flies.

Location and Fishing Information
Northwest Territories Sportfishing Lodge - The Lodge is situated on Brabant Island, 32 miles west of Hay River, Northwest Territories, 20 minutes flying time by chartered float plane. Hay River receives jet service from Edmonton, Alberta operated by Canadian North.
Accommodation:
Guests enjoy their stay in Duplex Log Cabins. Each side accommodates 2 or 3 people and has its own complete bathroom.
Daily maid service is provided.
Meals:
Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room of the main lodge. Wine is complimentary with dinner. Guests have a choice of shore lunch or box lunch.
Special diets can be accommodated.
Refreshments:
Our licensed bar is open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Drinks are complimentary when consumed in the Main Lodge.
Daily maid service is provided.

Rates include: Round trip economy airfare or private charter from Edmonton Intl. Airport to Hay River, floatplane from Hay River to Lodge and return, meals, accommodation, daily housekeeping service, complimentary bar and daily guide service.
Payment: A deposit of $850.00 U.S. per person is required to confirm space. Full payment is due 90 days prior to arrival in Hay River. Deposit refunded if 90 days notice of cancellation is given. Less then 90 days notice of cancellation, deposit is forfeited.
