2006 ANGLING PACKAGES

PETITE CASCAPEDIA, BONAVENTURE & UPPER GRAND CASCAPEDIA PACKAGES

Our Petite Cascapedia, Bonaventure & Upper Cascapedia River packages include; Atlantic salmon angling (full-rod each angler) based on TWO ANGLERS SHARING A ROOM AND GUIDE, on the limited and/or unlimited sectors of the Petite Cascapedia, Bonaventure and Grand Cascapedia Rivers, all meals & lodging at Salmon Lodge, guides & canoes, catch & release license.

For the 2006 season we now have CONFIRMED reserved rods on the PETITE CASCAPEDIA B-SECTOR June 15 �September 30th, and sectors B1-B3 and B4 on the Bonaventure River every other day from June 10 through September 8th. This means that you can now book in advance PRIME WATERS on these rivers!

Our packages do not include; alcoholic beverages and federal and provincial taxes. We will be happy to suggest travel arrangements if necessary.

3-nights / 3-days fishing = $1,900 US per angler / taxes included
4-nights / 4-days fishing = $2,530 US per angler / taxes included
7-nights / 7-days fishing = $4,425 US per angler / taxes included

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Starting in 2006 - you may arrive the day before angling (after 4:00 p.m.) and depart on last day of angling, or, arrive the morning of the first day of angling, and depart the day after the last day of angling. If you would like to arrive / depart a day before, or, after your angling dates, please add 125$ for an extra day of food and lodging.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS / PLEASE READ
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit within 7-days of your booking to secure your spot. The balance is due within 30-days of the deposit date or before March 30th, whichever comes first.  In the event of a cancellation we will only offer you a credit if you can sell your trip dates. If you cannot find a replacement, all monies will be forfeited - NO REFUNDS. * May we suggest trip insurance in case of cancellation.

We are a quality outfit with profound knowledge of the Rivers of the Gaspe Peninsula. The legendary Grand Cascapedia, the Petite Cascapedia, Nouvelle and the Bonaventure Rivers are our home. Our goal and mission is to provide and deliver a quality angling experience to our friends and guests. We train and provide highly qualified local guides who understand their home rivers and the secrets they hold.

Located on the Southern shore of the Gaspe Peninsula, the Bay of Chaleurs, or �Warmth Bay�, is home to some of the best Atlantic salmon and sea-run trout fishing found anywhere on the Peninsula. This magnificent region is blessed with two of the most productive and well know rivers in the Province, the Grande Cascapedia and Bonaventure Rivers. It is also home to two other gin-clear beauties the Petite Cascapedia and Nouvelle Rivers, both of which hold decent numbers of salmon and trophy, sized sea-run brook trout. Anglers fishing with GSD will have the opportunity to fish one, two, three, or, all of these rivers in a single trip, depending on the type of package that you choose.

This part of the Gasp� Peninsula is also known as one of the most popular tourist destinations for visitors from Quebec and abroad. Guest at our lodges can choose from a wide range of outdoor and cultural activities including; local and regional museum visits, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, boutique shopping, whale watching, horseback riding, golf, spelunking, sailing and spa visits, etc� All of these activities are within a 5-minute to two-hour drive of our lodge.  

Our Rivers

We offer angling services on the Petite Cascapedia, Bonaventure, Grand Cascapedia and Nouvelle Rivers from June 1 through September 30 each year.

The fishing starts to get good around the 5th of June and continues to be good throughout the season, which runs till September 30th.

We offer sight fishing to Atlantic salmon in the 5-40+ pound class as well as sea run brook trout angling from July 1 through August 30. The brook trout run from 2-9 pounds.

Accommodation:

Our lodge is a century old fishing lodge offering a spectacular view from its 50+ feet perch above the world famous Cascapedia River. Guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and lore that this special lodge has to offer. The lodge accommodates up to 12-guests in well appointed rooms with double and/or single beds, four fireplaces, a huge living room and spacious dining room. The view from the front porch is truly spectacular and is one of the highlights of staying at this lodge. Our combination of home-cooked Gaspesian and French cuisine is another highlight at the lodge!

We have a Log Cabin for those of you who are seeking a self-catering option, we have a very nice riverside log cabin about 3-miunutes from our main lodge. This 2-bedroom 2-4 person cabin is fully equipped with everything you need, linens, cooking utensils, wood burning stove, refrigerator, freezer, and stove� It is in a charming spot right on the Cascapedia River and is within walking distance of the local fly shop. Our rates are 150$ per day for the cabin for up to four people. We have a 3-day minimum stay requirement and can reduce our rate for guests who wish to book for more than 7-days.
