Seasons & Rivers
Spring Steelhead will find us on the Sauk, Skagit, Satsop, Bogachiel, Hoh, Humptulips, Queets and Wynoochee Rivers. All of these Rivers have opportunities for Steelhead in the high teen and twenty-pound plus range.
These Steelhead are what dreams are made of, whether on spin, drift or fly gear.
Spring and Summer Chinook Salmon will find us on the Lewis, Kalama, Icicle, Hoh and Skykomish Rivers. The Lewis River Spring Chinook run begins in March and reaches it's peak in mid-May, with Chinook still available into June. The Kalama River is open year-round, peaking in mid-May, for Spring Chinook Salmon. The Icicle River typically opens around mid May continuing thru late July, as does the Hoh. The Skykomish River will open June 01 for Summer Chinook Salmon, and run through July 31. These rivers consistently prove to be very exciting fisheries!
Yakima River Trout fly-fishing float trips begin in mid-May and run through mid-September. The blue ribbon waters of the Yakima River welcome World-class fly-fishing for trophy Rainbow Trout.
Summer Steelhead season will begin June 01, and find us on the Lewis, Skykomish and Snoqualmie Rivers. The Lewis River Summer run average 10,000 to 12,000 returning fish, peaking in July. The Skykomish and Snoqualmie Rivers have a strong 2 and 3 salt hatchery fishery, mixed with Summer Native Steelhead, again peaking in July.

Fishing Washington's Coastal Rivers - Founded in 1994, we specialize in guided spin, drift and fly-fishing float trips for Steelhead, Salmon and Trout on Washington States Premier Cascade and Coastal rivers. Fly-fishing for Trout on the Yakima River is available during the Summer months. Scenic and Eagle watching drift boat float trips are offered year-round. We offer heated drift boats for comfort, quality bait and tackle with excellent success rates, for your personal, business or gift certificate trips.
Fall Salmon season will begin in September, with Pink Salmon returning during odd years and peak for the Big Kings (Chinook) and Coho Salmon during October. This is some of the best Salmon fishing around, with the average King Salmon weighing 30-pounds, and Coho Salmon in the teens. This exciting fishery is followed by Chum Salmon in November. We will be fishing the Stillaguamish, Humptulips, Queets, Bogachiel, Hoh, Kalama, Satsop, Wynoochee, Snohomish, Skykomish and Snoqualmie Rivers.
